Have you ever walked into someone’s home and they had NOTHING on their walls. Didn’t it feel kind of cold and boring, nothing like a home should feel? Many of us don’t have the funds to purchase expensive wall art today, so why not make our own?
Did you know that you can use a quilt pattern to create beautiful wall art? All you need is a white canvas, tissue paper in various colors, scissors and glue.
HOW CAN YOU MAKE THIS AMAZING WALL ART THAT IS VERY ERIC CARLE?
Start by cutting the tissue paper into various shapes and sizes. Make sure you cut enough to fill the entire canvas.
Dry-lay (do not glue) the tissue paper on the white canvas in a pattern that you are satisfied with. Dry-laying the tissue paper allows you move it and create the perfect art piece.
Once you are satisfied with your art design. Start by picking up one piece of tissue paper at a time and applying glue to the back of the tissue paper then gently placing it back on the canvas where you removed it.
Continue gluing all the pieces of tissue paper until done. Allow the glue to dry and hang your wall art!
