Many kids love arts and craft. Parents’ love children to participate in arts and crafts, especially during the summer months or when they have a long break from school. Of course, children paint by numbers, they finger paint, they color with color crayons, and they even color with markers. But, did you know that an old rolling pin, a white sheet or large piece of paper and a few paints can provide hours of fun for your child or children.
In order for your child or children to successfully paint with a rolling pin, there are a few things you need to do.
1) Gather an old white sheet, the large piece of paper or any other surface you want your child or children to paint on. White works best because it will show all colors.
2) Cover your children’s clothing in a smock.
3) Dump small puddles of paint in a variety of colors all over the surface your child or children will be painting.
4) Hand your child or children a rolling pin, and sit back and watch the magic happen.
As always, when working with paint, allow the paint to dry thoroughly before moving the art piece or hanging it up.
