Propagate succulents with the leaves Cuttings. Using honey as root hormone.
Succulents have become extremely popular in recent months especially in container gardens. When I first mentioned that I was going to decorate my patio with succulents to friends, they thought it would be dull and boring. People don’t realize the array of colors that these plants come in. My favorites are the yellow and light purple hues. They look brilliant next to each other.
My first succulents were in a container garden that I purchased pre-made. They were so adorable. After a week I knew I wanted more, so out I went and to purchase another pre-made container. I quickly realized this was going to get out of control and expensive. I had to come up with a better plan because I still had an entire patio to decorate! That’s when I stumbled upon an articles explaining how to propagate succulents with leaves cuttings and, surprisingly, use honey as a root hormone to activate growth. This was the news I needed to hear and quickly began cutting.
Needless to say, my entire patio, the front stoop, and a few places in my home are not adorned with succulents. Thank goodness I know how to grow my own.
