cute buttons covered with candy wrappers. Teens would love this and they would make cute rings…girls camp craft!
Talk about a creative idea people. Look at this cute buttons covered with candy wrappers bracelet. This is perfect for younger girls to show off their jewelry creating skills, as well as have a blast making these. Summer is here and kids are out of school.
If you plan on going camping this summer with your children, why not bring along the materials needed to create these bracelets? Of course, the last thing you will want is the kids eating a ton of candy in one day, so it’s important to save candy wrappers before you make these. But, if you don’t care if they pound down the candy while you are camping, then go for it. It’s up to you!
You will need an assortment of candy wrappers, a chain (jewelry chain or small chain) a sewing needle, thread, and a ribbon, as well as glue and a pair of scissors. Have the kids glue the candy wrappers onto the buttons, cut off excess material. Once the glue is dry, you attach the buttons to the chain with your needle and thread, and finally finish by adding a ribbon to the end as a clasp.
