Do you have old vintage buttons lying around your house? Do you love jewelry? Do you enjoy crafts and making your own jewelry? Hey, this necklace gives you an excuse to shop antique markets, what’s better than shopping?!
Needle and thread
Step 1: Place your buttons on the cloth in the design of your choice.
Step 2: Glue the buttons to the cloth using your glue gun and glue stick. Be careful not to add too much glue so that you have glue showing through the buttons.
Step 3: Cut out the button design and cloth with a pair of scissors.
Step 4: Turn over the button design and carefully trim away excess cloth.
Step 5: Break the chain so that you have two pieces that will attach.
Step 6: Sew the chain to each corner of the button design using your needle and threads.
Step 7: Wear your vintage button necklace.
Because you need to break a chain in half to create this necklace, obviously you do not to use a genuine gold necklace. Costume chains work well for this vintage button necklace.
