Tired of the same old boring towel rack in your bathroom? Do you enjoy making crafts and DIY projects? Do you have old wooden chairs that you no longer need nor use? Why not turn an old wood chair into a chair back towel rack for your bathroom? You have the option of painting it to match the decor in you bathroom.
Step 1: Decide what wooden chair you want to use for your towel rack.
Step 2: Cut the top of the chair off using a saw.
Step 3: Cut a board off the chair.
Step 4: Measure the board to the width of the chair top, and cut it those measurements.
Step 5: Attach the board you cut of the chair to match the width of the chair on the inside of the “bottom” of the top using screws and a drill. Be careful not to split the wood.
Step 6: Paint your chair towel rack in a color that complements your bathroom decor. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly before moving onto the next step.
Step 7: Find a stud in your bathroom wall either my tapping the wall with your hands, or using a stud finder.
Step 8: Attach the chair back towel rack to the wall by screwing screws into the wall through the bottom of the chair rack where you attached the wooden board.
Step 9: Hang towels.
